Through the field studies realized in the areas where we work, the communities are composed of numerous poor dysfunctional families. The schools are located in urban zones with a low class environment. The lack of general services like water, light, drainage, etc happen because of the overpopulation in these areas. These families only have one income resource; therefore it's difficult for them to pay for all their basic and economic needs. One of the requirements to sign up in the educational centers of Vinculos y Redes is a socioeconomic study; and these candidates most have a social or economic disadvantaged.
It is very important that the qualified institutions most offer values and education to these children and young people in order to avoid the negative effects, for example violence, family disintegration, delinquency and drug or alcohol addiction.
Vínculos y Redes, A.C; gives priority to the poorest and most vulnerable in society, with special attention to children and young people, without distinction of race, sex, ethnicity or ideology. The objective is to make young people responsible citizens for the future; they are our target for education. |
